Our History

Our History

Since 1995, Flights of Fantasy has been bringing our remarkable blend of comedy and storytelling to children and their families at libraries, schools, festivals, and museums throughout Southern California. We have created successful partnerships with First 5 LA, the Los Angeles Unified School District, the Pasadena and Los Angeles Public Library Systems, Options Head Start and Volunteers of America. We have also been return performers at the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books, Cerritos Performing Arts “Family Day” Festival, “L.A. Kids Read,” Pasadena Art Night and Connections For Children “Literacy Festival.” In addition, we have toured the city libraries in Burbank, Long Beach and Glendale and have brought our shows to libraries in Kern County, Ventura County and Orange County. We have also provided Theatre Arts Packages to elementary schools in Pasadena, Glendale and Los Angeles. We have received funding for our programming from the Los Angeles County Arts Commission, the Department of Cultural Affairs for the city of Los Angeles, Target Stores, the Weingart Foundation, the Freida C. Fox Family Foundation, First 5 LA, the Pasadena Department of Cultural Affairs and the Los Angeles Unified School District.
